After 40 years together, we find the house quiet. We love reading of other's adventures and aren't sure if there are sufficient "goings on" to be blogspot worthy. Leigh is recently retired and Joyce works part time at the school district. We'll give it a try
May I say WOW!!! I absolutely love the countertop. I have seen that done on HG t.v. You really out did yourself on this project. I want to redo my whole house, you free anytime? LOL

OK, I can see you have been busy! What an amazing project to take on! About the only thing I ever accomplished in my lifetime was making quilts or curtains! Whew, is right! Looks amazing!
LOVE the countertop! And perfect choice on the basin/fixture choice! You have some interior designer in you don't you? I just love DIY projects - yours turned out beautifully!! And the best part is the knowledge that YOU DID IT yourself! My hats off to you!
